YW WELLNESS - Fitness Program for LDS Young Women Ages 12 - 18
Beauty in Mind, Body and Heart!

The Young Women's Wellness Program follows a 3-month, weekly class schedule and was designed to benefit all of the young women in the ward, regardless of their age, size or ability.

Purpose and Desired Outcomes:

    Provide opportunities for each Young Woman....
  1. To accept and appreciate her unique body, and to understand her sacred responsibility to care for it.
  2. To learn how to properly nourish her body following the principles taught in the Word of Wisdom.
  3. To use Personal Progress goals to understand the connection between body and spirit and to practice being a righteous steward of her body through weekly challenges.
  4. To be introduced to a variety of exercise disciplines as a fun way to be inspired to stay fit & healthy.
